Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Policy Oversight Program
Manager to develop clinical policies and manage interdepartmental
collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop clinical policies by researching medical literature and
incorporating input from specialty physicians
Manage committees responsible for policy approval and participate
in interdepartmental workgroups
Communicate new policy determinations and updates to stakeholders
and arrange communication for internal and external audiences
Required Qualifications and Education:
Bachelor's Degree or above in a clinical science field or
equivalent experience
7+ years of experience in scientific literature research and
medical policy development
Knowledge of scientific study design principles
Preferred experience with health plan policy implementation and
operations
Experience facilitating groups of physicians and interdisciplinary
teams
